The Mining Town of Youswell was built for mining rare resources and shipping it to East City. This was also where Vanguard discovered alien artifacts warning them about the virus that was under the surface of Mars. This was where the virus was leaked out, and infected many people. Vanguard closed the town off and hopped that it would die, but that failed. The virus took over the town and everyone in it, and soon the newly formed vampires began to think and they soon broke out forming the first ever town of the Blood Surge Empire.
